A Grand Forks man has been accused of robbing a gas station with a gun last week.
Terrance Monterio Gourdine, 27, allegedly took the till from Orton's Cenex Gas Station, 2002 South Washington Street, just before 11 p.m. Sept. 23, according to a news release from the Grand Forks Police Department. Gourdine had a handgun and was wearing a mask covering the bottom half of his face, police said in the statement. He ran from the gas station after robbing it, according to the release.
Gourdine was charged Monday with a Class B felony of robbery and is scheduled to enter a plea Nov. 5. He's also charged with preventing arrest, a Class C felony.
If convicted, he could spend 10 years in prison.
