A Twin Valley, Minn., man whose home burned down Saturday night was arrested after he stood in front of a spraying fire hose in subzero temperatures, according to the Norman County Sheriff's Department.
Brian Tastad, 27, pulled up to his home in a vehicle shortly after firefighters began battling the blaze about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, said Ben Fall, a Norman County sheriff's deputy.
Fall said Tastad stood in front of firefighters and took a blast of water from a spraying hose.
Unfazed, Tastad then went to the front door of the home, which was engulfed in flames, and had to be physically removed, said Fall, who added the temperature at the time was about 15 degrees below zero.
Fall said Tastad was arrested for obstructing firefighters.

He said a subsequent investigation led authorities to conclude Tastad set fire to his own home.
Tastad remained in custody Monday pending filing of charges, said Norman County Sheriff Myron Thronson.
