Major highways throughout eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota have been reopened after Blizzard Era Bell.
All travel advisories by the North Dakota Department of Transportation have been lifted. Both directions of travel on Interstate 29, Interstate 94 and North Dakota Highway 13 are open.
In addition, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced that U.S. Highway 2 from East Grand Forks to Crookston is open. However, there are still some highways closed, including parts of Highway 9, Highway 10 east of Moorhead and Interstate 94 east of Moorhead.
While many thoroughfares are open, transportation officials said current driving conditions vary from hazardous to fair and motorists should still use extreme caution when traveling.
Several school districts also announced they are running two hours late this morning.
