Three people have been arrested after law enforcement officials chased a speeding vehicle through a residential neighborhood in Grand Forks around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Cpl. Chris Hutton, Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department, said the five-minute pursuit started on the north end of town and was initiated by the Border Patrol and the sheriff's office. The pursuit ended at the corner Sixth Avenue South and Oak Street, where a four-door gray Chevy Impala with no license plate was cordoned off by police tape. Hutton characterized the chase as "low-speed," with vehicles involved in the chase not exceeding speeds of 35 mph.

Hutton said the details of the pursuit are still under investigation. The names of the three people arrested and the charges against them have not been released.
