"The Longest Day" event, which raised awareness of Alzheimer's disease, also raised $25,000 for the Alzheimer's Association, according to organizers at Grand Forks-based Edgewood Management Group.
It was held June 21 in downtown Grand Forks and 39 other communities in which Edgewood has senior-living facilities.
The Alzheimer's Association, which has an office in Grand Forks, work to enhance care and support for those with the disease and provides funding to find a cure.
