Two men attending a wedding at Mississippi Dunes Golf Links in Cottage Grove, Minn., allegedly took a golf cart on a joy ride, causing more than $10,000 damage to the course.
Two men in wedding clothes were seen driving a cart through the course June 20, damaging seven putting greens, a cart, three poles and three cups, according to the police report.
The wedding party was contacted but police could not locate the two men who were believed to have been involved. The damage costs may be handled between the wedding party and the golf course, police said.
