Xcel Energy crews responded to a two-hour power outage in the residential area south of Gateway Drive and along Stanford Road in north Grand Forks Friday night.
The outage started at 7:06 p.m. and the power was back on at 9:03 p.m. for 1,028 affected customers, according to Mark Nisbet, North Dakota principal manager for Xcel.
The cause was a problem with a switch, he said.
