Volunteer work to rebuild the Sherlock Park playground was temporarily stopped Tuesday because of a late shipment of lumber.
Any volunteers registered to work today will not be needed. The lumber is due to arrive on Thursday, and work is set to restart at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
A large numbers of volunteers will be needed to work Thursday through the completion of the project.
The ribbon cutting ceremony set for Sunday has been canceled but will be rescheduled.
