LARIMORE, N.D. - A Larimore man is facing legal charges for the second time this year for his role in what authorities are calling a domestic dispute.

Keith Larry Ranisate, 26, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor. His initial appearance is scheduled for Thursday.

Ranisate is currently awaiting arraignment on a Class C felony aggravated assault charge stemming from his alleged actions on Nov. 12.

According to Grand Forks Sheriff's Office Lt. B.J. Maxson, deputies responded to a residence on the 600 block of Sickles Street about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday after a report of a physical altercation.

Deputies were told Ranisate and his 16-year-old brother attacked their father after an argument about apologizing to their stepmother. The brothers had fled by the time deputies had arrived but returned and were detained at the address.
