The forecast from the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks calls for mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the high 60s to 70s through Sunday, but it should remain relatively dry, said Al Voelker, a meteorologist with the weather service in Grand Forks.

Monday will bring a chance of showers and possible thunderstorms. Right now, it's looking to be in that 40 percent to 50 percent chance of rain on Monday, Voelker said. The chances of rain continue through Tuesday.

A wind advisory was issued and then canceled Thursday afternoon, with wind gusts earlier forecast at 40 mph in the Devils Lake basin. It will remain a bit breezy today, with winds forecast at about 20 mph, but winds will calm over the weekend.
