James and Marlene Burckhard celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Friday, November 10th 2006. They were married on November 10th, 1956, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Walhalla, ND.
A family reunion/celebration was held in July at Leech Lake, near Walker, MN. This was hosted by Jim and Marlene's children and grandchildren-son Bob and his wife Audra, along with children Eric and girlfriend Brandi Cink, Andy, Jessie, Alec, and Michayla, son Mark and his wife Urszula and daughter Stephanie, daughter Lori and her husband Rick Hubbard and son James, and son Pat. Also present were Marlene's sister and niece, Ramona Danielson and Cindy Knudson.
