Searchers looking for a man missing near Virginia found a man's body this morning. But authorities don't believe the body is that of Dustin Damm, the man they were looking for.
The body, which hasn't been identified, was that of a man approximately 5'10" tall, weighing 175 to 185 pounds, with dark brown shoulder length hair, a small scar on the forehead, a scar on the left chin, a tattoo on the right wrist and missing the tip of the left index finger.
Damm, 28, is 6'0" tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and a shaved head. He suffers from mental illness. He was last seen in Virginia Tuesday morning. His vehicle was located near the Rouchleau Pit on Wednesday. Members of the St Louis County Volunteer Rescue Squad searched throughout night for Damm. Rescue squad members found the unidentified body around 10:30 a.m. today.
Authorities won't know the cause or time of death until after an autopsy is completed, Lt. Edward Kippley said. He expected the autopsy would be done today or Friday.

Authorities are also asking residents of the city of Virginia to search their property for any sign Damm.
