GRAND FORKS -- Congratulations to all the wonderful performers a week ago at the "Grand Cities Idol" show in UND's Chester Fritz Auditorium.

It was exciting to see the talent from all of the high schools. It also was so nice to attend an event where the audience was positive for every performer from each school.

The students from East Grand Forks Senior High, Grand Forks Central and Red River high schools set a great example in sportsmanship for us to follow.

Thank you to Poppler's Music, the main sponsor, and to Scott's Music and Kenny's Music, the co-sponsors. Thanks as well to the Chester Fritz and to 4Fourteen.

The Summer Performing Arts staff had the event well-organized as well. Congratulations again on a tremendous Grand Cities event.
