Collings, Holweger win scholarships
Jake Collings, Grand Forks Red River High School, achieved top honors in the computer programming division, as did Alex Holweger, Grand Forks Central High School, in the secondary computer maintenance division at the state SkillsUSA competition April 18-20 at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton.
Both Collings and Holweger received a $1,000 scholarships and $500 to participate in the national competition in Kansas City in June. The scholarship was sponsored by the Information Technology Council of North Dakota.
Teachers Academy set for July
The registration deadline is July 9 for the 15th annual Invest North Dakota Teachers Academy to be held July 19-23 at the University of Mary in Bismarck.

Upon completion of the Academy, teachers will receive two graduate credits. Enrollment is limited to 150 teachers.
