The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is hoping some new images will help someone identify a man found dead in a Rosemount railroad shed.
WIth help from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the medical examiner has made a computer-generated reconstruction of the man’s face in the hopes the image will help someone recognize him.
The man’s partially skeletonized remains were found Sept. 29, 2014, in a shed near 146th Street and Burnley Avenue West. He is believed to be about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and anywhere from 30 to 50 years old. He had long brown and gray hair and wore a loop earring in his left ear.
He was wearing size XL and XXL clothes, but his belt size was 29 inches. He was wearing a Wilson Leather Open Road motorcycle jacket and Boardroom Classic eyeglasses. He carried a knife in a sheath decorated with swords and a Confederate flag. Initials on the sheath included RMK, LLW, DIS, DCS, ME, MJC, PSM, DHT, LLC and JLB.
Rosemount police looked for leads in the area where the man was found but none led anywhere. DNA and dental charts similarly failed to identify the man.
