Interstate 29 is closed from the South Dakota border to Grand Forks.

The closed stretches of interstate in North Dakota are expected to remain closed into Sunday.

I-29 from Grand Forks to the Canadian border is currently closed, but is expected to open later today.

U.S. Highway 2 is closed from Grand Forks to Devils Lake, but the stretch of highway is expected to open later in the day as well.

Interstate 94 between Jamestown and Bismarck has been reopened by the North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

I-94 remains closed between Fargo and Jamestown.

A no travel advisory has been lifted for Steele, Napoleon, Linton, Valley City, Jamestown, Edgeley and surrounding areas.

But a no travel advisory remains in effect for all of eastern North Dakota as the result of blowing and drifting snow. Cities included in the advisory include Grand Forks, Hillsboro, Drayton, Cavalier, Casselton, Fargo, Wahpeton and surrounding areas.
