Hornbacher's Cherries for Charity event raised $1,270 to support families served by the Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC). The event was held mid-July, and the store sold more than 5,000 pounds of cherries, allocating 25 cents per pound to CVIC. Hornbacher's has sponsored Cherries for Charity for 35 years, bringing it to Grand Forks last year.
