The two were arrested in April and held on preliminary charges of being party to the crime of homicide and party to the crime of attempted homicide.

According to earlier reports from the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office, investigators identified seven people -- including Miller and Corbine -- who went to a Bacon Square home in the Town of Hayward on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation about 4:30 a.m. Friday. The two McDaniels were both stabbed multiple times.

Corbine also was injured during the incident. He was treated and released from the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

The first of three 911 calls about the situation came in at 4:30 a .m. April 22. The first caller reported that someone had been stabbed at the Bacon Square residence where John McDaniel lived. A second call came in almost immediately after, according to the Sheriff's Office, reporting a young male with a head injury at a residence seven miles away from Bacon Square. Then, a few minutes later, a woman called to report that her son had been stabbed and was at a house on Drytown Avenue in the Town of Hayward.

Sheriff's deputies and county ambulances responded to all three locations along with Lac Courte Oreilles police officers and found victims with stab wounds and blunt-force injuries.

A search of Wisconsin court records found several past charges against Corbine, including burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, battery, disorderly conduct, underage drinking, resisting or obstructing an officer and taking or driving a vehicle without permission.

Miller's record includes charges of endanger safety/use/dangerous weapon, battery, criminal trespass, bail-jumping, resisting or obstructing, truancy and underage drinking.

John McDaniel's record included charges of operating while revoked, operating while under influence, retail theft, underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
