Upcoming soil testing will cause short-term lane closures next week on U.S. Highway 75 in Warren, Minn., the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.

Motorists will encounter minor delays and short-term lane closures impacting driving and parking lanes during regular business hours on Johnson Avenue between First Street South and Second Street North.

The closure is expected to last about three days during the week of March 5. In addition, no oversized or overweight vehicles will be allowed though the work zone.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will conduct soil borings to investigate a past petroleum release from an underground tank at the former Knutson and Sons site.
