Road work on U.S. Highway 2 east of Fosston, Minn., will begin next week.
Lane shifts will take effect Monday as crews prepare to resurface the eastbound lanes from Fosston to four miles east of town, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto a westbound lane for the duration of the project, which is expected to conclude in mid-July.
The project also includes construction of three new eastbound turn lanes and culvert work.
Drivers should expect slower travel speeds in work zones and head-to-head traffic.
