Minnesota, too
In Minnesota, International Falls is generally known for its brutally cold temperatures, but not in the past few days.
The temperature hit a record 77 degrees there Saturday. That was a full 20 degrees above the previous record, set in 1968.
Saturday marked the fifth straight day of record highs in the Falls, and the seventh day in the past eight.
Temperatures also set records in Duluth, where measurements of 73 degrees at the airport beat the previous record of 61 degrees, also in 1968.
