DEVILS LAKE-A high-risk sex offender is moving to Devils Lake.
The Devils Lake Police Department said Douglas Lavern Black, 61, will live in the 200 block of Walnut Street.
Black was convicted of a crime against persons under the age of 16. He is not wanted by local law enforcement and the notification is not meant to increase fear in the community. It is the belief of the Devils Lake Police Department that an informed public is a safer public.
