Several Grand Forks area offices and services will close or have short hours New Year's Eve and Day.
Grand Forks and East Grand Forks city halls and other offices close at noon Thursday and will be closed Friday.
Cities Area Transit buses and Dial-A-Ride service will operate as normal Thursday but will not run Friday.
The Grand Forks Public Library will close at 5 p.m. Thursday and will be closed Friday. The Campbell Library in East Grand Forks will close at noon Thursday and remained closed until Monday.
The Herald's business offices will also close at 2 p.m. Thursday and will be closed Friday.
