Two weeks after getting fired from the station he helped found, AM 1100 the Flag, Scott Hennen is still without a broadcasting home.
This after stating at the time he would be on the air again in one week.
"I didn't do so good last time, so I probably shouldn't go there again," Hennen said Friday afternoon when asked if he had a new prediction for his return to the air. "Soon and very soon is all I can say."
He said one reason for the delay is opportunities keep rising. He wasn't specific about the opportunities, but said he would stay in media as a commentator. He added that of the options, the ones he was most seriously considering were local.
Hennen directed fans to his Facebook page for updates.

The talk format station AM 1100 has no permanent replacement for Hennen, instead using guests to fill in the 8 to 11 a.m. weekday time slot.
Friday was the last day for Rob Port, who had filled in as well as manning the 6 to 8 a.m. spot. Starting Monday Bruce Kelly fills a 5 to 8 a.m. daily shift.
Kelly, the program director at sister classic rock station, 106.9 FM, the Eagle, said he is nonpartisan and his show, "Bruce Kelly and Company" will cover a range of issues, not just politics.
Breck Von Bank, general sales manager for the Flag, said the station would soon announce a permanent replacement for the 8 to 11 a.m. spot.
