• Grand Forks Garden Tour: The annual Grand Forks Garden Tour event will be held July 20 and 21. Tickets are available at the Myra Museum and area garden centers; proceeds will go toward enhancing area parks. Yards in both Grand Forks and East Grand Forks will be part of the tour, and the "Plant Doctor" will be at the Myra Museum from 10 a.m. to noon on July 20 to answer questions. • Benefit: A benefit for Annette (Shervold) Nolte will be held at the East Grand Forks Eagles Club, 227 10th St. N.W., on Aug. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. The event will include free will donations, a taco bar and a silent auction.

• Special Olympics volunteers needed: Special Olympics North Dakota is seeking volunteers for the organizing committee of the State Soccer and Bocce Tournament held September 14 and 15 in Grand Forks. No previous experience is required. Those interested can call (701) 746-0331.
