HELPING HANDS: East Grand Forks VFW to host pancake feed

The Past Commanders Club of VFW Post 3817 will host a pancake feed from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Post 3817, 312 DeMers Ave., East Grand Forks. Funds go to help veterans and their families.

Xcel Energy recently donated $7,000 to Red River Valley Community Action. The money will be used for the agency’s client education program, which teaches energy consumers the best ways to save money on home heating and cooling costs.
