A cease-and-desist order has been issued against a Grand Forks insurance agent and insurance agency, North Dakota State Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm said Wednesday in a news release.
Hamm alleges David Glessner and MAG Insurance improperly used money belonging to clients.
The order alleges Glessner accepted money from an insurance client and then issued one or more falsified insurance policies and also failed to apply the money to an actual insurance policy. The client believed he had insurance coverage when in fact he did not.
Glessner has a right to request an administrative hearing within 30 days.
