A Grand Forks woman was killed Wednesday evening when her vehicle went into the ditch just west of Crookston, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
At 7:12 p.m., Mary C. Tyrrell, 48, was westbound on U.S. Highway 2 when her 2009 Chevy Malibu entered the median. She was taken to RiverView Health in Crookston where she was pronounced dead.
According to the patrol, there was no damage to the vehicle from the accident. Tyrrell's body was transported to the Ramsey County medical examiner for an autopsy.
