The Grand Forks Sheriff's Department will hold a mock vehicle crash today at 1:30 p.m. at Larimore High School as part of prom week activities.
"With the upcoming prom and graduation season, the purpose of this is to show the children the awful effect of drinking and driving and to show the community that the area agencies care about their children," Sheriff Bob Rost said in a news release.
The crash will be done in conjunction with the Grand Forks State's Attorney's Office, Larimore High School, Larimore Fire and Rescue, Altru Hospital, the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Brown Funeral Home, Glenn's Towing and Piles of Smiles Entertainment.
