After a 10-year-old child was injured in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday, Grand Forks police have turned to the public for information.

On Monday morning, a white four-door sedan struck a child in the crosswalk in front of Century School on 17th Avenue South, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page.

The child suffered minor injuries.

Police encourage anyone with information on the incident to call 701-787-8000 or email at investigate@grandforksgov.com . An anonymous tip may also be submitted to the Tip A Cop link on the department's homepage or by texting "TIPSTER" with the tip to 84741."
