Grand Forks police are investigating a home burglary where the thief made off with more than $3,500 worth of cash and merchandise.
The owner discovered the burglary when she returned to her home on the 5000 block of Sixth Avenue North on Sunday night after shooting pool.
Among the missing items were about $2,000 in cash and jewelry, $800 in electronics and $600 in tools.
There were no signs of forced entry and police believe the burglar gained access from a roll-up garage door.
The case is still under investigation.
