Grand Forks police officers responded to a medical call Wednesday afternoon, in which a 24-year-old man suffered a serious gunshot injury.
The man was taken to Altru Hospital.
The incident happened at 1:14 p.m. in the area of 1951 28th Ave. S.
Though police are investigating the incident, they were referring to it as a medical emergency Wednesday evening.
