The Grand Forks Public Library will be open as usual today after sewage back-up in one of the restrooms caused an emergency closure Thursday afternoon.
“It was just a very severe clog,” said Wendy Wendt, director of the library. “We were very relieved. We were afraid it was the sewer main.”
Library visitors will not be charged late fees for books that they weren’t able to return while the library was closed Thursday.
