With time running out on the open enrollment period for health insurance, federal health insurance officials will hold an event in Grand Forks Tuesday.
The marketplace enrollment event will be held from noon until 7 p.m. at the Grand Forks Public Library, 2110 Library Circle. People can be enrolled in the health exchange during the event if they have the proper personal information.
The open enrollment period for the federal health insurance exchanges will end March 31. People who don’t have health insurance from the exchange or from another source by that date may have to pay a fee.
Officials expect interest to surge as the deadline gets closer, meaning more phone and online traffic and potential delays.
