Grand Forks firefighters put out a Chevy Venture van that started on fire at an apartment complex Saturday.

"It was a total loss and the whole thing was completely burned up," said Battalion Chief Rob Corbett. He estimated the value to be about $1,800.

The fire was reported at 12:47 p.m. at 4261 Fifth Ave. N.

No one was injured in the fire, and a nearby car had some cosmetic damage.
