The cities of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks will both host spring cleanup next week.
Residents can place large items out with their trash on the same day that week as their normal garbage day to have it picked up. Both cities request that items not block trees or access to mailboxes.
Normally, extra items require a fee to be picked up, but that is waived during spring cleanup.
While large items are accepted for pick up, do not leave hazardous materials, wet paint or electronics out for pick up.
Instead, take these items to each city’s Public Works Facility.
