The city of Grand Forks is inviting the public to celebrate City Hall's 100th birthday party on Wednesday.

An open house is scheduled 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at 402 Second Ave. N. Mayor Mike Brown will blow out candles at 4 p.m.

Coffee, punch and birthday cake will be available. Historic displays will provide a glimpse of the city 100 years ago.
