Alerus Financial Chairman and CEO Randy Newman has been elected to the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the Grand Forks-based financial services company announced.
Newman was elected by member banks to represent in the district overseen by the Minneapolis bank, which includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin and Michigan.
Newman will serve on the board until 2015.
