After temperatures Tuesday prepared to dip into 30 below, schools in the area announced closings for Wednesday-when the cold is predicted to be at its worst.
Grand Forks Public Schools, East Grand Forks Public Schools, Northland Community and Technical College and UND announced they would be closed Wednesday.
