Fire damaged a Grand Forks apartment unit and displaced tenants from the whole building Wednesday morning, the fire department said.
There were no injuries, but damage to the building and its contents was estimated at $50,000.
Firefighters were called to 2500 Knight Drive at 10:23 a.m. and saw smoke coming out of Unit 304, one of 12 in the building. They evacuated tenants and brought the fire under control.
