Grand Forks and East Grand Forks city offices as well as government offices in Grand Forks and Polk counties will be closed today in observance of Independence Day. Emergency services will continue to operate.
- Cities Area Transit, or city bus, including Senior Rider and Dial-A-Ride, will run as scheduled.
- East Grand Forks trash collection and recycling and Grand Forks recycling will not be affected.
- Grand Forks residents with regularly scheduled pickup today will have trash collected Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Grand Forks City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

- Altru Urgent Care will be open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Altru Retail Pharmacy in Altru Hospital will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
