Gov. Hoeven to announce return date of N.D. Guard's 1-188th

Gov. John Hoeven will announce today in Grand Forks and in Bismarck the return date of the North Dakota Army National Guard's 1-188th Air Defense Artillery Battalion's-Security Forces.

Gov. John Hoeven will announce today in Grand Forks and in Bismarck the return date of the North Dakota Army National Guard's 1-188th Air Defense Artillery Battalion's-Security Forces.

The Security Forces unit, including 30 soldiers based in Grand Forks, has been in Afghanistan since March 2006 and on active duty since December 2005.

The announcement of the return date of the 152 soldiers will be made in the theaters of both the Grand Forks and Bismarck armories.

Hoeven will make the announcement today in the Grand Forks Armory at 9 a.m. and in the Raymond J. Bohn Memorial Armory in Bismarck at 11:30 a.m.
