GFK Flight Support of Grand Forks will host a precision landing competition this summer that will award one pilot $10,000 for their landing prowess.
The event, which is co-sponsored by the Grand Forks Airport Authority, World Fuel and Acme Tools, will be held Saturday, July 28 at Grand Forks International Airport.
The contest is open to any certified pilot, sport certificate or higher, that qualifies to compete. Registration is free.
During the competition, a target line and foul lines will be marked on the runway and each pilot will be allowed only one approach and landing. For more information and contest rules, visit www.10grandlanding.com .
