A Grand Forks man accused of fleeing a crash scene was sentenced Friday to two years in prison and three years of supervised probation.
Thomas Dirckx pleaded guilty in state District Court to driving while intoxicated, possessing drugs and leaving a crash scene.
Police said a sport utility vehicle driven by Dirckx collided with another SUV in October on South Columbia Road. Dirckx and a passenger fled on foot; police found Dirckx a short time later and arrested him.
Dirckx and the other driver were treated for minor injuries at Altru Hospital.
