GF man arrested after attempted break-in

A Grand Forks man is in custody at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center charged with criminal trespass and fleeing authorities, according to Grand Forks police.

A Grand Forks man is in custody at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center charged with criminal trespass and fleeing authorities, according to Grand Forks police.

Michael Wolfe, 19, was arrested at about 5:40 a.m. in the 700 block of Campbell Drive, police said, after a caller reported a male subject who was attempting to gain entry into a residence. The man fled, but the caller was able to give police a description. Officers searched the area and found Wolfe in another yard attempting to enter another house. He fled on foot and was arrested a few blocks away, police said.

Wolfe also was booked as a minor consuming alcohol.
