The Grand Forks Blue Devils took first place in the 13-year-old EDC Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament in Grand Forks on Sunday (July 18th).
They defeated Valley City and Fargo Nationals before beating the Fargo Americans 11-1 in the Championship game. They will be the #1 seed from the East for the State Tournament held in Fargo on July 23th - 26th.
The Blue Devils team members are Taner Bender, Kaleb Binstock, Al Decker, Ryan Enerson, Eric Johnson, Cole Kirchoffner, Eric Leach, Logan Montgomery, Ryan Richardson, Jake Robson, Josh Steen, Ty Straus, Jayce Turner, Brandon Walters, and Zach Walz.
The Blue Devils are coached by Rob Kirchoffner, Shawn Walters, Tom Montgomery, Mark Decker, and Marty Steen.
