The Grand Forks Blue Devils finished second at the Midwest Plains Regional tournament held in Waite Park, Minn., on July 30 to Aug. 2nd.
The Blue Devils beat teams from Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota, and Minnesota, before losing to Waite Park in the championship 4-3.
The Grand Forks Blue Devils team members are Brandon Walters, Jacob Robson, Cole Kirchoffner, Logan Montgomery, Eric Leach, Kaleb Binstock, Ryan Richardson, Gunner Garritson, Eric Johnson, Alex Decker, Josh Steen, Logan Steen, and Jayce Turner.
Coaches are Rob Kirchoffner, Shawn Walters, Marty Steen, and Mark Decker.
Also, Brandon Walters won the Home Run Derby held at the Skills Competition against 23 other kids from seven different states.
