Gas prices continue to inch up

Average retail gasoline prices in North Dakota have increased 0.8 cents per gallon the past week, averaging $3.95 Sunday, according to gasoline price website NorthDakotaGasPrices.com.

Prices nationally average $3.93 a gallon, a slight increase compared with the past week.

Today in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, motorists were paying between $3.95 and $4.05 per gallon.

Including the change in gas prices in North Dakota the past week, prices are $1.05 more per gallon that the same day a year ago and 18.4 cents more per gallon than a month ago. The national average has increased 12.9 cents per gallon the past month and is $1.05 a gallon more than a year ago.
