Average retail gasoline prices in North Dakota have increased 3 cents per gallon the past week, averaging $3.06 a gallon Monday, according to gasoline price website NorthDakotaGasPrices.com.
The national average has increased 1.4 cents per gallon the past week to $3.05 a gallon.
Prices in the state are about 40 more per gallon than the same time last year.
Today in Grand Forks, stations were charging between $3.10 and $3.15 a gallon. In Fargo, motorists were paying about $ 3 a gallon.
