The Teachers Hall of Fame was instituted in 1995 by the Grand Forks Foundation for Education and the Grand Forks High Schools Alumni Network as a means to publicly thank and recognize outstanding and memorable retired educators who've made an impact on students.

The 2010 inductees will join 54 other former educators who've been inducted in the Teachers Hall of Fame, including some who taught as long ago as the 1920s.
